Online discussion forums and asking for advice are great ways to learn new things, get different perspectives and meet new folks with similar interests in the landscape industry. I belong to a number of groups and learn new things all the time! But, just because someone tells you something, doesn’t mean you should do it. If you are asking for help, take the advice and ‘research it’ for your project. There can be many variables on your site which folks don’t see or understand, or even have the actual background in design and construction to properly help you out. I have seen so many posts with advice from others that are way off track and would be a detriment and waste of resources and money to the ‘poster’ asking for help.
